Stop Attacking?

So, I recently started to go to Jr. Newties to snipe them or what ever. Since they continuously spawn I left a weight on my control key (which had lucky seven on it). I came back in a few minutes only to see that i was still doing the throw motion, but there were no stars coming out. I moved around and then I could throw again. Is there something wrong with my computer? And if not, is there a way that this could stop happeneing, and I could like leave my computer there with a weight on it for a while? Thanks :D

It's to prevent botting, which was exactly what you were doing. Shame on you. Report yourself to the GMs.

It isnt a glitch, TeeHee. It's a system implemented to prevent botters. After attacking 100 times while your character is stationary, it will discontinue to attack. They wouldn't allow you to gain exp for leaving your attack button pressed down.

Actually simply jumping does nothing you must move (jump forward or backwards) to another location and attack. This happens to my I/L all the time, even if I teleport directly down (or up) to another platform I still can't attack. I can even move around and casts buffs and if I return to the exact position I still cannot attack.

Nexon does that for cheaters that leave their weights on over night hoping that they get to level 200, and can't attack after 100 attacks.

i thought it was 400 attacks and then you get locked out? its to stop botting. not a glitch. Its been in maple forever. Since i can remember. and ive been playing for about 3-4 years. so yeah. its been here for a while.
