Inflation of Chaos and White scrolls

| Hello Basil! So, I've noticed a HUMONGOUS inflation of Chaos and White scrolls right after the new patch, where Nexon increases the chances of getting a rare item. So a few days after the patch, Chaos scrolls are around 45m and stable while White scrolls are deflating at a massive rate (dropping from 300m to 100m in about 3 days). HOWEVER, right after this huge deflation, I noticed while merching that white scrolls bumped back up to about 150m+ and even chaos scrolls bumped back up to 100m+. So my question is... Why are these 2 scrolls massively inflating by the second when they were once so low in price? This is in Broa btw, and I want to know if this is happening in any other worlds. Yea, I noticed that cause when they were cheap, like in FM 1 and 2 there was about 3 or 4 shops that had them up for about 110m+ while other shops were 100m-... I'm guessing that it basically spread when all merching guilds started buying out all the scrolls, then other people noticed and started pricing their scrolls for huge prices, and since demand is up right now, people follow suite and buy them causing even more inflation... This cycle won't end till demand goes down.. |

Your explanation doesn't explain why it's happening in ALL worlds, it's not like all of the merchants in every world plan to horde them all at the same time, there's obviously a reason that has to do with the patches and what-not. My theory is that because the maple event is over, and not that many people are wacking away at cube slimes for maple shield, less chaos scrolls are dropping, causing inflation. |

Glove attack 60% scrolls are increasing too. My conclusion is... the maplestory trading system (MTS). FMKing (Richest mapler) and Explosive (Guild in Bera) probably started the first few scroll inflation. And a few guilds/people followed... I agree with your cube slime theory. I was hunting for slimes and found chaos scrolls there. |

| Don't forget, most merchants charge heaps more for ANYTHING in their stores, because they don't properly grasp the idea of competitive marketing, and instead sit around waiting for people to buy their overpriced stuff. People in FM entrance not from FM guilds are the ones who'd be selling items closer to their current price. |
