Why Cant I log in with Firefox?

Everytime I try logging in on Firefox, I get this.... You can only use letters and numbers (a-z, A-Z, 0-9) for your name and password. ._. And Internet Explorer lags >_> How do I fix it

I can't log in with IE. Everytime I try, it just goes back to Basil's front page. Which is why I use FF.

Clear your cache/ cookies. If it's giving that error, it sounds like something is messing with your POST data. You haven't got any toolbars or stuff like that have you?

what kind of toolbars? :o Well actually, I don't have any besides the file, edit, blablabla if that's even considered a toolbar ._.
