| So we all know that in the next patch or so Knights of Cygnus (new class) and Ereb (new city) is coming out. now i want to know why Knights of Cygnus goes until lvl 120 and then stops. I mean like it sucks cuz they may not be able to do Horntail and Pink Bean and all those other bosses. If anybody knows why the class Knights of Cygnus goes until lvl 120 plz post below this thread. Thx! |

| Because Nexon Korea decided their cap to be 120. Cygnus is supposed to be the class for more casual players. |

| Well I read somewhere that Nexon said that a lvl. 120 KoC will just be as strong as a lvl. 200 reg. 4th job. |

| because they get better skills and more points to put into stats than the other class, they are designed for casual players, if they went till 200 they would be massively Overpowered. if you want to HT or PB make a regular adventurer. @above a 120 KoC is aobut as powerful 14x regular (for warriorsanyway) i've heard other classes is 13x. |

 | Do more research on CK ( Cygnus Knights~ The GMS Name for them) They gain 6 ap per lvl. So if they were able to go all the way to 200, then people would actually have a reason to call them overpowered. |

| That's the very essence of KoC. o_o I thought everyone knew that part already. They've got a lower cap and lower maximum power, in exchange for being much more powerful at lower levels. They can't do some of the big bosses, but everything they can do, they're capible of at a lower level than adventuruers. @above, no they can't HT and PB. |

| Because if they'd go to 200 like adventurers, they'd be overpowered and no one would make the original 5 classes anymore. Making them 120 makes low level people happy since they can be stronger now, and high level people happy that they still are just as good as they were before and they won't be owned by some new class. |

Actually, they don't make people in the level 70-120 range happy, because they are going to be overpowered, and they don't want to start over. |

No, but most of us in that range either fall into 1 of 2 categories: Those close enough to 4th job that we don't care, because in the time it would take us to train one of those to overpower us, we could just get our main to 120+ (like me), or those that still aren't high enough in 3rd job, so that you really wouldn't need to train a KoC for very long before they overpowered their main (ex. someone in 7x or 8x). And levels we already have aren't a waste because KoC have buff skills based on levels of the highest character. |
