Should I watch Death Note?

So I was thinking about watching the anime serie Death Note is it any good?

I'd suggest you watch up to episode 30ish. Don't bother with the last few episodes. They're considered a new story arc. First arc was much better IMO.

Just watch up to around episode 27-30. Can't remember which one it was. Well, you'll know when something significant happens and might make you cry . Don't bother watching after, the rest of the episodes are boring. Edit: Yenno beat me to it O_O.

The whole plot shows possible (except the main character) lifestyles which you would dream for. But in my eyes, there's nothing wrong with depression, all it does is change your views on things the way you want it to. I suggest you watch it. 1st episode may be a bit bland, but it just gets better and better.... until the crazy and sad ending.

Great series. The ending could have gone differently, but it was to be expected from a story like Death Note.
