How far are you willing to pirate?

Stage 1 - Music I think most people have no problem with downloading music. I never buy music unless it's from an indie artist that I like enough. Stage 2 - Movies and TV shows/anime TV shows are a pretty hard purchase and it's easier to just download batches of them since they come in seasons. Sometimes I download movies but since I'm an audio/visual nut, I prefer the higher quality in DVDs (and in Blu-Ray whenever I'm able to afford that). I know there are places to download Blu-Ray rips of movies but I'd rather not have a 10GB monster file for just one movie like Benjamin Button on my computer. Stage 3 - Video Games and Software I pretty much never download video games (unless they're for the PSP) and software. I don't really have any uses for extremely expensive stuff like Photoshop outside of school and they're are tons of open source alternatives. Stage 4 - Tangible goods like purses, watches, and shoes Honestly I don't really get these. Most of the time these are crappy quality and I couldn't care less about a name brand more than I just want something that I can rely on.

stage three, but i regret pirating some things and not buying the full version later. sometimes, you'd have more fun purchasing the full software. remember that if you really really like the game/music/software/etc. , purchase it to support the developers.
