Japanese map and a sparta.

Say I were to scroll a 93 attack sparta with 4 STR. Would it be better than a 79 attack, 4 STR, 2 dex Japanese Map? I'm not sure how big the speed difference is. Thanks.

Do you have any Atk on your Cape/Glove/Shoes? I'm tempted to say the Map's better,but I'd prefer doing math to be sure.

Nakey: 79 x 1.1979 (PS/SB+FA) = 94att. 79x 1.2195 (PS/SB with no FA) = 96att simply the Jap map is better, even if your character is naked. add in like rage and say 10 extra att from gloves/cape or whatever +22att: (FA) 101x 1.1979 (FA) = 120.9att sparta setup 121 sparta setup - 22att = a 99 att sparta to match the DPM of your 79att jap map (with 22 extra att points factored in) (with FA included) +22att (NO FA) 101x 1.2195 (NO FA) = 123att sparta 123 sparta setup - 22att = a 101 att sparta to match the dpm of yout 79att jap map (with no FA included) Summary: Jap map all the way

Only an 8 attack glove, the rest are just DEX, and I do have FA. xD

But you've also got to think about where you're training, say you're training at like... Windraiders and with your Sparta you can 2 hit them, but with your jap map it takes 4, it would probably be best to use a sparta. These calculations are based on if you're attacking non-stop say at bosses, or what not.

These calculations are based on if you're attacking non-stop say at bosses, or what not." still the TS has rage and a 8att glove on top of his stated setup i.e. 79+ 20 = 99att and 91+ 20 = 111att meaning the Sparta hits 12% harder or so. now 12% wont mean he can consistiently less hit something, also remamber that even if it does the 1h setup attacks closer to 20% faster. theres also other factors in advantage of the Jap map, like response time.
