str vs. attack? which is more important?

well, im a fighter, and i was wondering if it would be worth it to sell my +9 str old raggedy cape to buy a 2 att pac cas they're about the same price. I was thinkin of buying a poorly scrolled for str 2 att or clean 2 att because i am not well funded and would rather save my mesos for a better 2h sword =] just wondering how much str 2 att would equal =] ty

9 str beats 2 atk, 2 atk and 2 str beats 9 str.

5 str is 1 atk. And vice versa. RC for 2 att PAC would up your damage a tiny bit. Just get a better sword.

The value of Str is dependent on your amount of Str,which in turn affects the value of Atk. It's safe to say 9 Str>2 Atk at levels under 9x-10x or even higher. You should try to get an 8 Str IC2 if possible,not too expensive and the Speed boost is great.

the thing is that attack is better only if you are a higher lv, a lv 50 fighter does not benifit from 1 attck as much as 5 str, but a lv 80 fighter gets a higher bonus from 1 attack than from 1 str, my point is that it all depends on the lv

I'd get a 2att and scroll it with str. If you can afford a 2att you can afford str scrolls :D

You can't just flat otu say exactly what the ratio is, without knowing the person's current att and str. OT: Neither, get a 8-10 str ic2, the 10 speed is worth it.

It does very according to lvl...u should get a dmg calculator for warriors n test wat will happen if u get either one it will also tell r str:att ratio

scorp989 said: "if your planning to go 120+ str may be a better choice, because of maple worrior" maple warrior only adds the percentile of the base stat, which means that statless characters benefit the most on topic the more str u have, the more str it takes to match 1 attack and the more attack u have, the more str it takes to match 1 attack basically, the higher level u r, the more str it takes to match 1 attack personally, it's around 5 str to match 1 attack i do not recommend using a PAC for training though, i use an IC2 for training, 139 speed ftw?

(((strx4.6)+dex)/100) = damage range per w.atk Compare it to how much damage you gain per str and you got your answer.

keep the cape, or get a speed icarus
