| How to do you solve the following used a logarithmic function (ln x or y = ln x)? 1.3^x = 8 Solving for x using logarithmic function... anyone know? If so please explain, don't just give me the answer. Thanks! |

But the use of "x" as a multiplication sign can be confused for the variable "x", so we just put numbers in brackets. Like, 3 times 4 would be 3(4). As for log and ln, those are basically exponents. I'm not sure if you learned them yet or not. o-o |
