Okay... I have a new netbook and I'm pretty sure it meets all requirements, or at least the requirements that are stated on the mapleglobal website. It's a HP Mini w. intel atom processor, 1.6 GHz CPU, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB HDD, 1024X576 resolution (if i should lower or raise the resolution... to what extent?), Network is just wireless but thats not mandatory for the error at hand. It may be that the reason i have this error is that my maplestory is running on a usb drive, so i am currently downloading it onto the netbook. Those who think netbooks can't play games...please think what you are saying -.- For those who need it, the error code is -2147467259

Your .wz files are corrupted. When that error code happens. It means that the client has came to packet or something that doesn't match so it will automatically close. Get new clean wz files.

Yeah, its the same thing as renewing/ downloading new files. Although, I cannot be always right but this is the most common fix for me sometimes.

Yes. But I believe I got that error code also when my monitor didn't run in the same hertz? I believe, as Maple. To fix this, run Setup.exe in the maplestory folder and follow what it says.

the thing is... that the error comes up right after the Hshield launches and before maplestory starts

Turn off your hax. F2 Reinstalling it should help.

Your login screen wz. is corrupted with a wrong code/ invalid pointer o_O. Or it's that your hshield files are missing. But, either ways. Redownloading will work.

Also, since it's on your USB, there could be some gaps in the registry. ( Did you install it onto a flash drive with a different computer?)

That sometimes happens if your graphics drivers are not installed. Thats what it was for me. :|
