I had gotten a new Toshiba laptop time ago, everything was working fine, I did my homework, I watched youtube, I played maple, etc. Until I got the blue screen of death one day, comp automatically restarted and it took me to a screen requesting a weird reparation, I think it was something about being unable to access the login part of the computer initialization, so I left it on for a lot of time and it never worked so I restarted once and once again until after hours of process one of them requested another reparation which failed as well. I took my laptop to a Toshiba specialized store where they fixed it. 3 days ago the same thing happened except this time, the 2nd process, which consisted in returning the system to a time when everything worked right, worked. I was reliefed to know this since I was afraid of having to get it repaired again, curious thing is, when I opened the nexon folder, all documents were there, except for the maplestory exe (which means it had been erased when the computer repaired itself). Could anyone explain why this happened or if it was some sort of coincidence? Thank you in advance

Were there any more files that were deleted? Its not your laptop probably it was your first time playing MS on your labtop but got the BSOD.I think MS and something with your system battled and it resulted in the BSOD.

No, it was just the maple file needed to actually open the game.

your antivirus program ate it up. a lot of scanners are picking up false positives from the maplestory.exe. check your antivirus to see if they have it quarantined and have it restore it. also make maplestory.exe an exception so it stop removing it.
