In just a few hours, chaos scrolls rose from around 100m to 250-300m. And it looks like they'll keep rising. Anyone know why? o.o

I think they are going up because less people are hunting at cube slimes. Most of them hunt at cube slimes for maple shield AND chaos scrolls. Another reason may be that people think they stopped dropping after maple items stopped.

What's making me wonder is how can we let these merchant guilds regulate the price? What's going to happen? Is this going to be like what happened to Runescape where Jagex dictated the price of everything and you couldn't give out a single penny to anyone for free? I use to think prices in Bera were pretty fair, last week Chaos scrolls where 55-60 mill, ilbis 8.5 mill, and white scrolls were 120 mill. Now they've doubled in prices excluding the ilbis (up only a mill). Now what I believe happened is all the merchers set the price up high for the next patch that way we "have" to buy them. I'm just going to save my money rather then spend it.

I would, it still has a chance of failing o.o If I would use a Chaos on clean Facestompers for example, I would DEFINATELY use a White Scroll. But yeah merchants have their hand in on this too.

hmm thats interesting , chaos scrolls on zhelms+ ht pendants+ MoN = high prices or do the chaos scrolls not work like that on them, then its just that ppl dont grind as much anymore without maple weapons dropping and have mostly gone bak to pqing
