I don't know what to choose

Hello, I've read all the guides and stuff and know the basics and pros & cons of i/l f/p and clerics. But I still don't know what to choose. I like to lvl FAST and have fun, dmg doesn't mean that much to me at all. I just want to reach lvl 70 once. It's going to be lukless BTW. Anyone could tell me FROM HIS OWN EXPERIENCE what job suites me the best? TY in advance.

-sits back and watches all mage subclasses snipe at one another- Take the time to go through the 83798372 threads like these and you'll see the same people repeating the same thing over and over and over again - not to mention the VERY typical responses of blah blah Lukless Cleric is wonderful, I/L is uber-cooler and F/P is not as uber. Take a sheet of paper, rip it into three with each mage class written on each piece. Find yourself a nice sock/hat/sack and mix them nicely before pulling one out. Hey presto, you've reached a decision!

Hey, TY for the response. I think cleric is out off the options now. Kinda biased at F/P now, 60%-40%. How about the build for a F/P, I want to max slow defonately cuz some highlevelers say that it is a skill to max. But I want to save Mp pots with mp eater too. Is it hard to train w/o FA and go Pizard, or should I stick with hybrid/Fizard, please explain why. Would hybrid will be expensive, since I don't get mp eater?

In terms of fun- you CAN'T measure that. It depends on what YOU consider to be fun. In terms of training speed- nothing in the game can beat the FP in 3rd job, NOTHING. In 2nd job the three jobs are pretty much even in lvling speed but as an FP, you also have the capability to go to DTs at lvl 5x and Kents at lvl 6x. This sets FP apart from the others in my opinion. I generally think that all 3 types of mages (having tried all of them) are enjoyable and you can't really go wrong with them if you know what you're doing.

If you don't know which mage to choose, then it's probably not the best class for you.

Lukless Fizards are awesome if you have good fundings, The hits are quite amazing but no mob attacks which kinda sucks. For Fizards and Pizards this pays off at 3rd job when they get the awesome poison myst which let's them not only lvl fast but to be able to solo 2 channels at ONCE. If it was me I'd choose a Fizard since you're going lukless if you decide going normal you should be a cleric and lightning wizards are cool too I just think that at 3rd job Fizards are better.

Basically Clerics are supporting characters in Maple, I/L and F/P are more soloing characters and dont need to rely on anyone else. Support will get you into things like PQ's/Zak Runs/GPQs. Also it will save you money from not using HP Pots. Soloing will get you faster training speed to get to higher level, and you dont have to waste time finding a PQ or training partner. (Depends) I picked I/L because Ice looks cool and Chain Lightning is pretty good also.

We have another flame war on our hands. I have an idea. When you're picking your 2nd job, close your eyes and pick a random job. And when you see what you got you feel youur gut close to the job you really wanted,you will know that you should have picked that. Otherwise just pick your job based on your preferences.

Anyway, here: link link link link link link link link edit: TS, if you go hybrid f/p (as in, getting poison and fire arrow), then mp eater is the only skill you don't max. It's okay though, because mp eater does nothing for poison training, and it sucks for fourth job meteor training.

I have to say I/L and F/P both level fast in 2nd job. F/P may level slower in the first 25 lvls, but after you max poison and go to DT's, it's very fast exp. Clerics lvl fast too, but a little slower than I/L and F/P.
