I bet many have came across this path at some point. I've played both accounts to 70 but 71 was as far as I got to my cb so not much there explored but I just made a hermit the past 4 weeks. From personal experience any suggestions as far as pros and cons besides the obvious :O? Thinking about switching my herm to CB. Specifically a Str Bandit. And concerning funds I 200m? Do tell for those who have both (: ty.

I got tired of playing on my bandit but to be fair I only made it as far as level 55 (from before most of the new PQs). Every training sessions was SB and pot, SB and pot because of the close range and low HP. I switched to making an assassin and just did my 4th job advancement. Much happier now, especially that hermits have drain (from 2nd job) and alchemist, I almost never use HP pots.

yes i think it's worth a try to go CB than Hermit if you want, CB can take some hits from bosses while NL are like a little fire lit on candle about to just blow away at any moment... we and bowmans have the lowest hp ever haha xD but prepare to burn some mesos and pots hehe i have a 17x Shadower in KMS but i had to quit because it doesnt work in US lol... NLs moves are more exciting and looks cooler because they got those flashy moves but when it comes to damage wise... unless like Delphinus from MSea who has a claw...92att sleve goes outdmging all those people... Shadower skills arent flashy but it's more of a stable damage and you can surely depend on it. ^^^btw i have no idea how he did all that... but everything depends on the user of the character... not all people are meant to be Shadowers out there so xP take ur steps towards it now... but really everything evens out... advantages n disadvantages... but im sure you'll have fun being a future shadower, if not NL is fantastic too

it's kinda off topic but uhh can i ask if Scania is still like awesomeeeee? i have a drk there but i quit scania after i got hacked... and if you are going to be NL, i think Low Dex is the best way because seriously if you arent FMKing or someone rich...you cant make a complete godly dexless... HP Washing Helps a little too...since we always die in 1shot sometimes 2 from bosses... thats why i liked Shadowers and Drk... and btw i was thinking about moving world to scania so yea haha i hope it helped... but one last thing... if we NL/hermit doesnt have excellent eqps we are going to be outdmged REAL BAD so go start proving them wrong xP -im trying- haha jking... if my eqp listing helps 15/15/15/16 Z helm 5/5/5/5 11/10 MoN Dex FS 13att ywg 6att pac 2 slots 64att caster 8dex sword earring 18luk top 13dex bottom 26illbis... haha i sold my 2 face eqps for my leech money haha well i hope it helped...

They both have their good and bad points. I have a Shadower (157.) and a Hermit (77 That I quit for my Bandit.) Chief Bandits are versatile in the sense that they have many skills and many different ways to train. Their mob damage is amazing, and their single target damage isn't half bad. Bossing wise, Chief Bandits have the upper hand with their Meso Guard and Meso Explosion skill, but, this comes at a huge price (Meso and Pot-wise.). Hermits are limited to Lucky 7 with Shadow Partner and Avenger, but deal great damage at high speeds to single targets. (Their mob damage isn't half bad either.) They have amazing skills such as Alchemist that can save millions in Mesos over time, Drain which can make training sessions a lot more efficient pot-wise, Flash Jump which can be used for either transportation, to get out of a tough spot, or for a training maneuver. Of course without Meso Explosion, Hermits definitely take the cake bossing wise. They're probably one of the best single target classes in third job. They can both be a fun class depending on how you view both of the characters. So in the end, it's really up to what you want. Each class comes with it's generalizaton. So try and be strong and not take offense to what any people say about your class. If you enjoy it, then that's all that matters. In the end, Shadower is the class for me. As for you, I hope you I helped your decision become a lot easier.

XDevilDogs 07/01/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
i meant flashy as a popular moves among the people.. like as for flash jump...if someone moves across a map faster than themselves, like you just said TT, let me ask you, how long have you been playing MS AT ALL? you still sound like a beginner to me asking weird stuff like "how do i get to Amoria" or w/e something stupid... DUDE everyone has their OWN POINTS OF VIEWS DONT ACT LIKE YOU ARE THE CENTER STAGE PHAIL~ btw i never offended anyone but you misunderstood...how can i go one move by move and rate their coolness and powerfulness?

Plus seeing so many dammed stars flying at once looks pretty 'effin sweet too.
XDevilDogs Jul 01 2009 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
haha but most Shadowers are more wanted and damage higher overall...well at especially at KMS...those pro gamers...-.-;; over there it was like Shadowers>NL MOST of the time...Not all, depending on their eqps and individual dmgs Shadowers moves are good too but NL's move shows off sometimes....makes them look like they're the best but THEY'RE (I'm too) NOT~~~~
