| Alright to start this thread off, I know most of you basilers are sick and tired of all these threads out there. My only intention of this thread is for people who are against leeching to see the views of people who are for it. What is leeching? Leeching is a maple term used when someone gets EXP while in a party when not contributing any effort to help earn the EXP. Leeching can be done in many ways such as, leeching off your party members in PQ's like CPQ. You sit there while your team works hard to earn the EXP, or buying leech. Buying leech is the most common, and infamous way to leech. Basically what you do is pay the person you are leeching off mesos, while you AFK/do nothing and "leech" EXP from either regular monsters or bosses. Common reasons why people dislike leeching Now these are the most common reasons I can think of - Leeching is for the lazy. If you cant play, dont play! - Leeching is a waste of mesos! - Leeching isn't fair! - All my friend's are lvling way faster then me! - I always get scammed when I try to buy leech! - It just irritates me. Conclusions - Leeching is for the lazy. If you cant play, dont play! Have you ever thought that maybe they have to do something like, attend a funeral or they have a football game. They want to lvl up and not fall behind so they buy leech. Maybe they dont have anything to do, and they buy leech constantly. That is their choice and that is their way of playing the game. MapleStory isnt a game where training is a must, and is the point of the game. There are many reasons why people play it. They either play to lvl, play for competition, play to socialize. This case, there playing to lvl. Now you could say that why even lvl up when your not gonna play or not gonna know how to play your own char. But again, it is their choice. If they end up finding they leeched all the way and end up not knowing how to play their own char, that is their fault. - Leeching is a waste of mesos! Who are you to say what someone can or can't buy/use with their mesos? Unless that mesos belongs to you, they are free to use it on whatever they want as long as it is not violating anything on the ToU. To you it may seem like a waste of mesos, to others, it may not. - Leeching isn't fair! Life isn't fair. Get used to it. What isn't fair? The fact that people are lvling very fast? I dont see how that could corrupt your game experience in any way besides the fact that your character's rank lowers. I can only think of one way which it may corrupt your game experience which is it takes up maps. But hey, theres mini dungeons now, and for maps without such as harps, well cmon now, who trains at harps? But theres 19 chs. Im pretty sure all 19 aren't occupied. - All my friend's are lvling way faster then me! Yeah, I cant really think of a conclusion for this. Tell your friends to stop leeching? Or buy leech yourself? Unless your a anti-leechist and will never buy leech. Can't really say anything here. But you cant fault leeching i |

Because those are COMPLETELY different. And also, Saying you never leeched is like saying you never afked in a party to go to the bathroom or to answer the phone. |

| Notice how everybody that "Hates leeching" Can never come up with a good reason why? They always use the reasons posted here. Edit: XxAritoxX said: "How? You pay for experience or pay for mesos, either way getting both without doing anything to earn it." Buying mesos from a meso-selling site is against the ToS, And is a bannable offense. Buying leech is not, they earned the mesos, So they have any right to do whatever they want with them. The only problem I could forsee is someone buying mesos from said sites, Then buying leech with those mesos. |
