Lukless Bishops and damage Reduction.

So here is the problem, my friend just started off Maple and he wants to be a Lukless Cleric but I said I'm not sure if it's a good idea for him because of the damage reduction people say when the Elemental Wands are fit for attributes but there is no proof of that and I don't know what will be better for him. I have a few mills for him and I can give him items like I have a Maple Staff ready for him but I don't know since he wants damage. So is it true there will be that damage reduction or not? Thanks!

That's only until very later. He can still convert later but for now, Lukless is the best option.

Well, then again I am not sure since he might not get the fundings to buy an Elemental Wand whereas you could get a Regular Wand/Staff cheaper.

See how far he gets first. You can always put LUK in later, but he's probably not even going to get that far. There's a huge amount of time you have to put into Maplestory and most people quit before 50 oO

Even a bishop a Lukless bishop with a Maple weapon will still out damages any Luk/Low luk bishop.

The reason for saying that is because elemental weapons have been out for a year now and when Nexon did make a fix all they did was add in the 25% boost to the corresponding element. There's also been complains about it which were followed by heavy debates so my best guess would be that Nexon isn't going to bother fixing it after this long.

Moreover, they are not gonna earn the hatred of plenty of bishops out there.

If he just started off playing Maple and you're only giving him a couple of mil he won't be able to afford an elemental staff for the damage reduction to even be relevant to him.
