| Hey everyone, the new Firefox 3.5 was just released this morning. Get it here: link See a brief overview of the new features here: link Two of them include private browsing mode and tab tearing (like Google Chrome). Most of my extensions were already compatible, see the compatibility list here: link If however, an extension is not compatible, you can use nightly tester tools to force-override and enable it - link My Add-on picks: Sxipper - Autofills sign up information, also enters login information to automatically login to sites. Xmarks - Synchronizes/backs up bookmarks and optionally passwords as well. Seems like Weave, a new development from Mozilla will be what replaces it since it appears to be better: link Ubiquity - A sort of launcher for firefox, better description in the video here: link Tineye Image Search - Extension for the Tineye website which allows you to right click on an image and search for any identical or similar images on the web. Very useful for finding larger versions of images sometimes. link WOT (Web of Trust) - Tells you if a site is safe or not, allows for rating them too. link Morning Coffee - Opens specified pages that you frequent at the click of a button. I use it every morning to open a list of tabs which I check every day. link Smarterfox - Makes firefox smarter... Awesomebar autosearch, shortcuts to popular sites, and autocopy to clipboard upon selection - link All Glass Firefox Mod - Makes firefox glassy link (Vista/Windows7 only) Misc others I use: Adblock plus, Boost for facebook, Downloadhelper, Downthemall, Flashgot, Google redesigned, Greasemonkey, IE Tab, Image Zoom, Linkification, Noscript, Screengrab, SkipScreen, Tab mix plus, Tab Scope. If you're having any problems with the new firefox, I'd recommend disabling all extensions and see if that makes the difference, then enabling them a few at a time until you can pinpoint which one is causing the problem. If the problem persists, post here. |

| Do you know any dark themes that work with the new FireFox? My old one (Aero Fox) doesn't work =/ |

| The speed frankly does not seem to be 3 times as fast. If anything, Safari 3 was faster than this. Still, the endless doors of internet-browsing opened by add-ons keeps me with Firefox. I just hope that one day, their speed will be able to compete with Safari and Chrome. |

| Ahh, noooo. It's the same as before... I'm staying with Chrome and it's super simple design with no confusing things and less space. |

| AnnaDragon said: "Firefox has too much hype. A new release comes and people starts screaming. Even though Opera 10 alpha could beat it, and that came out a long time ago." Opera's design and customization lacks greatly when compared to Firefox. I need my browser to look good and fit my needs as well as function smoothly. |

Firefox will always, for the most part, maintain its current structure and the way it works. iFallen: Unlikely as XP does not support aero. |

| Someone help me fix my Mozilla browser. At times the browser gives up and stops loading. Because of that problem I switched to Chrome, but I miss Firefox. |

| Am I the only one thinks the new add-ons page [well, somewhat new] for Firefox looks cluttered compared to the old one? |

Open your start menu>all programs>mozilla firefox (safe mode). In the window that opens, check the checkbox to reset the preferences. |
