Zakum Dc while entering the altar

So on the last two zruns that I've tried to go on, I've dced like right as I went into the zakum altar. This was after the patch and it really frustrated me because I didn't know what was going on. My computer runs fine and I don't lag like excessively, but when I enter the altar the screen turns black for like 5 seconds like it's working on getting to the next map but then it suddenly just shuts off all of maplestory. Could it be possible that this is happening because I need to wait for 10 people to be in the altar before me? If i can remember far back enough I might have clicked in before 10 went in so this might be the issue. If you know the answer to this please reply...I desperately want to zrun xP

i'll assume your on vista and have a nVidia geforce vidcard. if so then theres nothing you can do about it. however this happens for xp users and under some other conditions as well. turn graphics lowest and play in windows anyhow.

Do you think anything in the patch may have to do with it? Because I could enter the zak fine before and it's just.. weird..

was someone standing on adobis(or whatever his name is) then you double clicked causing you to click in and click the player = d/c for vista

I dont think it is because of vista, i have XP and i had this same problem going into CWPQ and Zak last week. But after i changed a few in game and out of game specs i dont have this problem anymore.

The only reason that the patch MAY have had some part in it, was if the zakum map file wasn't patched properly. Otherwise, like what helokityy said, it happens regularly on vista based because vista requires a higher amount of virtual and random access (ram), therefore there being less memory left for other processes. Simply turn the graphics down to its lowest setting, play in windowed mode, and also try shutting down all un-necessary processes in task manager. This kinda happened to me, but I didnt dc. When you go in, it lags alot for some reason. I would suggest putting your graphics on lowest and maybe waiting until everyone else went in? Maybe all those people connecting, watever idk.

this will work bc it work on all my buyer wait for everyone to click then u click bc u will dc if u enter with alot of ppl so click last

I've noticed myself and a lot of people I talk to have started to d/c after the last few patches. I wonder what changed that make us do this, it is quite annoying.
