Nexon's Official Stance on Leeching

Before the anti-leechers come in, just remember that I RESPECT anyone who says that leeching is wrong, because it is a completely valid argument! Especially for those of you who grinded your way past 120+. So if you come in here trying to "convince" me it's wrong, after I've already agreed that you have a valid opnion, then you haven't paid attention to my thread. There are many threads every day about leeching, but they are mainly ethical, not really having to do with Nexon's ToS and how it is treated within those guidelines. I'm sure many people have seen this but I'm posting it in it's own thread to give it more visibility. The fact of the matter, is that no matter how wrong you think leeching is, or how right you think leeching is, both of those opinions are moot once you look at leeching from an objective manner. Leeching is, for all intents and purposes, only bannable if real-world money is involved. While so many are so concerned about whether or not leeching is "wrong", everyone seems to forget that their opinion doesn't matter in the eyes of Nexon, who is the final say-so on the matter. It's like the people who dislike NX users; it doesn't really matter if you think that 2x and Gach give other users an unfair advantage, because Nexon will not stop the sale of NX. And one more thing, Nexon probably doesn't support leeching . But, they know that technically there is nothing illegal about it (at least until you start doing things like trading NX for leeching.) That part is obvious, they don't think you are doing yourselves any favors by leeching, obviously, since you're not enjoying the game like the normal player would. But, regardless, they cannot ban someone for leeching if they pay another user in mesos to do so, which is the point I'm trying to get across in this thread. So, you can think that leeching is wrong: and you'd have a valid opinion! And you can think it's perfectly alright and STILL have a valid opinion! Because our opinion of the leeching situation does not matter to Nexon. And neither does theirs. Nexon can discourage leeching all they want, but until it's bannable (at least meso to meso transactions) they can't do anything about it. I don't butt into other people's business till it effects me, so I shant do it on the internet, as well. I myself do not respect leeching, as I like to earn my own levels. I like to feel like I've earned something. On the other hand, I sell BF leech, because it brings the "bread" in, and helps someone else enjoy the fruits of what we all call maple story. To each their own.

To each their own." I've never leeched before, but I'd like to see how it works, so I plan on trying it out. It seems like a very lucrative business for the leech seller, at least.

I suppose so. I don't like leeching MYSELF. I'd rather earn my own, as some would say. But most people pay me in apples, and as for APQ, I'm not very lucky. So it's win/win for me, and them.

You may be cheating yourself by wiping away the challenge of leveling on your own, but that's a choice you have to make.

Selling or Buying leech for Mesos or In-Game items is not violating the ToS. Its only in violation if you sell for REAL money, (I believe NX would fall under real money as well)

Wow guess you didn't read a single thing I said, so useless. The fact KMS did in fact test an anti leech formula, therefore they aren't in favor of it, whether fair or not they feel it's killing the spirit of the game as stated in your very link. Do your research in all versions because they do impact eachother. I hate people who know the most common tid bits of information and feel like they completly understand the scenario.

The thread has been around for ages - although first time around I got the impression they did not support buying leech with NX. Now it seems that they do support leeching for nx, a wise business move!
