THIS IS MY VERY FIRST GUIDE. IF AT ANY POINT YOU WOULD POST A SUGGESTION I WILL ADD IT. THANK YOU Welcome to Elin Forest! PQ is for levels 45-55 Personally, I know quite a few people who don't know how to get there. DIRECTIONS ~Go to Ludi ~Go to Helios tower (the tower on the right) ~Once inside Helios Tower go to the top (101st floor) ~Go infront of the cool-looking machine and go in as if it were a portal (click up arrow key) ~You are now in Elin Forest. ~Go to the Left of the new log-looking portal. ~Go to the Right of the portal you just exited. ~Go through the map with Mossy Snails (saving spot for SS) All the way to the right ~Enter that portal ~Start shouting J>PQ Thank you H0pe4Death Now the Guide Okay heres how it is. PERFECT PARTY Maybe you should add a note on what classes are better than others in this PQ? ALL OF THIS IS IN MY OPINION, PLEASE DO NOT FLAME IF WRONG >_< Mages: I know that getting a 49+ cleric (theoretically a 49+ cleric would have max heal and bless if party-oriented) is a great idea, it does WONDERS in the final stage (since they can always bless after the last boss lowers accuracy etc.), as well as helping to kill the monster stone bugs when they have cancel weapon attack. In my opinion, this is the best class to have here. I/Ls are also pretty good if they have slow (doubt it, slow is a dying skill D;), and cold beam is definitely useful as it freezes monsters. Not to mention lightning is an awesome mobbing skill. Comes up kinda short in comparison to clerics. F/Ps are just the powerhouse, they would be the least useful in my opinion as they usually only have fire arrow (and I'm pretty sure pizards can't use their poison breath here) and a warrior/brawler would be more useful. Warriors: Don't really know much about these, but I would say that spearmen and fighters are great, since hyper body and rage are essential to a fast pq (in most cases). Using a cleric in conjunction with these would maximize effeciency. Bowmen: I would think hunters would be the most useful here, as they have arrow bomb (greattt for stunning at the first few levels.) (Again, not experienced with these) Theives: Dexless sins are (as always) excellent with these kinds of PQ, sins are still good (although these days, reg. dex ones are just completely lacking in power). Dits are good, however less valuable than sins. Haste is a great buff to a party as always! Pirates: Brawlers are AWESOME! End of story. With backspin blow and corkscrew blow, they really do help speed up this pq. Corkscrew Blow is great for the Monster Stone Bugs, as they basically push around all the monsters into the puddle. It also is great for the final boss, as it can push it into a corner (thus making it easier to attack and much easier for a cleric to heal.) Gunslingers... are eh? I'm not sure if their skills are applicable to the JQ, but it would be great if they did. Sooo I think the perfect party would be: Cleric with Max Heal and Bless Fighter with Rage or Spearman with

i have important things to add to this. a perfect party must have a spearmen, 2 clerics, and 2 mobbers, the 2 clerics are so that each stand to each side of the boss, since his incantations only hit the side he is aiming, this allows the clerics to be more spread, thus not so much in the frontline to get to the left platform, you must go this way, "up" is jump to the next, "down" is let fall on the next. up left up left down left down left up left down left up left down left up left up left up right up right up left up left up right Up right up left you are there. and middle is: up right up right up left up right up left up right up left up right up left up left done. i still not certain of the fastest way to right. and the most important thing that you didnt mention, how to raise your rank. i am Rank B with 40 PQ's done, got the B at 32, but others get it at 22, or other numbers, the reason: THE PQ's Reason IS NOT kill the BOSS, it's STOP THE ACID RAIN, therefore, if you just kill the boss and leave, as you said, your rank won't grow. you must drop the black marble, and wait until the pond lits up, that's the signal that you passed the quest, doing this is what increases your rank, not beating the boss. so, in other words, if you defeat the boss, but dont purify the water, you completed the quest, BUT STILL FAILED IT. also, may anyone mind telling me how to make a topic? i cant find the option. EDIT: oh yeah, forgot another important thing, helios tower... is the one to the right, not left, that one is eos

please tell people to get on pq's and always drop the orb, and then come and say after how many PQ's they increased to rank B and A. 'cause i am still unsure about the orb i also believe glittering altair earrings stats are randomly generated, since i got one with +3 Str. i am level 56 now, so no more PQ's for me, killing myself 7 times for some earrings wasn't funny (but sure was useful) "KB is now 10k dmg" just wondering, what does that mean? if i think of anything else, i will tell you, i memoized most of that pq, blame the 51 times i passed through it -_- EDIT: now remembered something else: third phase of the boss also confuses you, making left be right, up be down, and viceversa. i believe that to be able to jump in this state, you need to hold down and jump button. also, if you are confused and want to enter the portal, you have to press down, since the control is reverted. the boss has a preference of darkness over locking, mostly 3:1 or 5:2, so instead of getting a lot of expensive all-cures, you can stock on 200 eyedrops, and 50-70 holy bottles (not sure about the name), and have the desired effect removed, and let's face it, nobody will be jumping in the quest unless you get locked, so tonics/all-cures to cover weakness is a waste of mesos. this may seem obvious but i had no idea, the boss has a rare chance of dropping his card for the monster book. only saw it once in all my 51 PQ's though, good luck getting it.

Thanks again, darkspawn. So now I might make like what he drops, with the rarity of the MC. I will also add that the stats for the earrings are random. You have done it again. EDIT: KB means Knock Back damage. EDIT2: I remember confuse, back in the days of APQ. Was annoying. LOTS. |

didn't knew that, but that explains why he won't stgger in third form. and no worries, i just say what i remember, shamely, i think that is all, well, except for the fact that in the jumping part, the last floating star when going to the right side, there are 2 of them that can hit you. EDIT: oh, just noticed, you need 30 fragments instead of 20 for the glittering ones, when you ask her again she will let you chose between altair earings (20 pieces) and glittering altair earrings (30 pieces)
