Deleting a married character

Well as u can tell by the name I want to delete a character that has been married But when i try to, it tells me "You may not delete the character that has been engaged and booked for a wedding." I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this My character is already married and no longer engaged or booked for a wedding Does anyone know how to delete a character like this? Plz and Tyvm

Divorce first, then delete that character. I don't know why you would want to delete it because you can use it as an apq mule. o.e
