My maplestory is messed up lol. Its not installed but if I find the icon and double click it, it runs. Its not in program files (under Nexon or wizet) and not even in Add or remove programs. And yet it works. Reasons anyone?

type in search for nexon. If it doesn't pop-up where it is, its a mystery indeed.

It's possible to just run it without having to install it. Just copying the folder from one computer to another and then running the game won't have any problems. It's also very useful in case a patch messes up the game. You can just copy back the older Maplestory folder and try again.

The patch works fine. And theres no problem running it.
