| This may Look like a typical which is better thread, but its really not. I read some stickies and know general information on both jobs. Nightlords do more damageperminute but shadowers are versatile and i like it. But what im really curious is, the training speeds of both jobs. Can anyone tell me how fast these two jobs train? Which one trains faster over the other? Also, i have. 9 atk pac and a 16 atk scg and 1.08bil apprpximately. With theze equips and this amount of money, which job can be "godlier" over the other? and which is cheaper? Nl's stars and claw, or str shadowers well scrolled Dkhanjar and GDK? |

| TheFLAMEZ said: " Shad actually seems more fun, Nightlord is just spam TT with the occasional pause for buffs >.>" You are wise beyond your years. Im taking a break from my NL and trying out a bucc, I might try a shad if this gets stale. Honestly, the only real char ive ever had was a sin, throwing stars has been all ive known since I started. I figure maybe a melee class is more for me, spamming ONE skill forever just gets so old. I think I just need to see what the rest of maple has to offer. |

| Honestly, why does everyone assume that bossing isnt part of being a shadower? I have never had any trouble getting into bossing because of being a shadower...Please refer to this "con" only as a personal experience, while I go cwkpq later today. |

| meso explosion isnt acc/level dependant meaning u can use it to train ANYWHERE as long as u can afford to use it plus some of the shadower skills u get are amazing. 4000% per boomerang step? hitting the damage cap with assassinate? apart from 4th job mages, i think shadowers have some of the best training skills in the game |

Think about it, 500% damage per hit, B-step hits twice meaning 1000% damage. And it hits 4 targets meaning 4000% damage. Thats what he meant, its not crap ^^ |

| Nls get more boss runs becasue the maple community thinks theyre the greatest thing ever. I would take shadower over night lord heres a good reason why (the reason i quit my hermit) lvl 10-70: press shift (lucky 7) lvl 70-120: press shift (Lucky seven) lvl 120-200: press shift (tt) other than flash jump, sin/hermit/nl is a very boring class (to me and a good bit of my friends) i would say shadower because of more mobility (training wise) and a more variety with attacks, also with that funding, youd have some good damage. |

IMO 2 things - 1) Some people have this illusion that only specific jobs can kill bosses because they rank high on DPM. They have not seen a Corsair trying to solo BF. Compared to a Buc (which rank low on DPM), well, there's a reason why Bucs sell BF leech and even higher-leveled Corsairs don't even wanna go near a BF if they're not near 0% exp. They just leave out those awesome non-DPM factors. xD 2) For some reason people with bad connections to bossing assume silly things like "oh, I'm Lvl 120 why ain't I bossing 24/7? people must hate shads, oh noooo!". xD Plus IMO this whole thing of some CBs/Shads going around thinking "we're not made for dmg, so we don't wanna talk about it" thing isn't helping. My gf can't even mention her damage in-game without the chance some Dit going on about "if you like big numbers, go play a dif. class!". Nothing helps boost courage to boss than being proud of your damage, yeah? xD Edit: @Above: Yeah, if you only like FJ and only think of L7/TT, please try a different class. IMO to enjoy the job, you gotta enjoy all the minor skills too (I even love Disorder, Ninja Ambush, Shadow Web, and Shadow Mesos, the skills we rarely use!). xD |

| Out of curiousity, what makes a shadower train 'faster' than most other classes? ive always thought they traind rather slowly? |

BS is not really weak of a skill (even though spamming BS alone isn't great DPM, BS itself does damage comparable to a Hero's Brandish without Advanced Combo) and maxed Taunt is godleh. +40% exp at max, if used properly, that means other classes would have to kill an additional 40% of monsters* to keep up (NLs have Taunt too, we just don't kill mobs as fast). xD Edit: Oh, and Bishops have HS, but can already kill over the +40% catch-up. xD And Pallys supposedly train as fast/almost as fast/faster (maybe varies by lvl/training area?). But I don't check on things like that too often. xD |

| This has the look and feel of a typical Nightlord or Shadower thread. The same assumptions and opinions of the other threads are being tossed back and forth here. So honestly what makes this thread anything but a typical Nightlord vs Shadower thread. Just look at the various key phrases in this thread and you'll see it too. I see.... "Nightlords are boring TT spammers" "Shadowers are always more fun" "Shadowers cant boss" ....in just about all these threads. Getting into a boss run has alot more to do with connections than level and class do. You cant use personal experiences as definitive facts pertaining to any class. I facepalm everytime I see someone say shadowers are more fun than nighlords, as if that is an absolute fact. Your shadower might be out of luck when it comes to boss runs but that is not the experience of every shadower. You might see your nightlord as a boring TT spammer that is only good for bosses, but I can assure you there are better nightlords than you who have more variety in their attacks and perform far better than you. As an owner of both a nightlord and a shadower I can say that, yes, a shadower does typically train faster than an equal level nightlord, but not by much. Shadowers may be great mobbers, but nightlords are not slouches when it comes to mobbing. By 15x I had maxed ninjastorm and venom and lvl 20 TT (HT was not out yet for TT30). This build served me well and allowed me to train very quickly. |

| Quick question: What set of skills do Shadowers use to obtain such a good rank in training? I usually never see them, so I'm wondering. D: |
