White Scrolls are ruining Maplestory

I seriously think Nexon has gone too far with greed when they increased the chances of getting a white scroll from NLC gachapon so much. The price used to be hundreds and hundreds of millions of mesos each; if not over a billion mesos, and you'd be lucky if you saw one in the entire free market in a month. Now they're popping out at a rate of dozens a day, and Nexon decides to announce every scroll given as well. It's seriously reduced the price of white scrolls - and jeopardized the value of godly scrolled items that were made when white scrolls were so rare. Why bother with 60%s and 70%s when you can hit the first three slots of an item with 30%s; then white scroll it the rest of the way to perfection? Sure, most players won't be able to afford that, but it's guaranteed that the more wealthy players and merchants will definitely be able to do so. And then the scrolled items that we all bought at high prices before this white scroll madness will slowly decline in value until they're next to worthless compared to a flood of perfectly scrolled items.

It's like changing one of Maplestory's most basic rules. Every scrolled equip before this retarded white scroll spree has just lost its value by at least half and will continue to go down. It's like buying a house valued at a million dollars one day, then being notified the next day that your house is now worth $200,000 because the bank changed its policy. And if they change it back to normal, there's still the problem of those who hoarded the white scrolls - those scrolls will effectively make them billions of mesos in profit.

Everything ruins maple story if every time someone said this about something. It won't ruin maple, period. I like that fact that nexon is making some items a bit easier to get instead of the highly rich people only being able to use it. And nexon isn't greedy, it is a company.

Lets say that you get a weapon, somehow land 3x30% scrolls (2.7% for that to happen) and then white scroll it with 10% scrolls. You need an average of 40 white scrolls in order to do that. Even with the new price of white scrolls (~150m?), it will cost you around 6bil to white scroll a weapon.

They're going for 90mil in Broa. And it'll get less and less with each passing day. In the two hours I was online today, I saw 7 white scrolls being announced. So if you use that as a proportion for a whole day, that would mean 84 white scrolls coming out each day. And as people keep watching the white scrolls pop out, more and more will be tempted to buy gachapon in the hopes of getting some themselves, exponentially increasing the supply of white scrolls.
