Maplestory needs a class with a different play style.

We need a class (well, I need a class =/) that incorporates both close-distance fighting & ranged fighting. Now, dont say "Mages can do both!" or "All classes can just whack them!". Like, for example, I was thinking today, and I thought of a chain-wielding class. Or like Ivy, from the Soul Cailber games, how her weapon is a chain/sword thingie. I was thinking, for example the chain-wielding class could like, attack the monster from afar with it's chain, then reel the monster in and finish it off with it's sword. Or it could start attacking the monster with the sword, then wack it into the distance with the chain. Another idea I thought of would be Air Combos. Like, attack the monster, bring it into the air and attack it while it's IN the air. Kill it before it could ever touch the ground. Your thought's on this subject? Do you think Maplestory needs a new play style? EDIT:: I got most of these ideas from Dragonica Online (Which is a great game btw; Hunters FTW)

I understand Aran class involves combo's, but it's more so just hitting the monster over & over again. Also, just noticed I effed up the first poll answer. Should read "I think Maplestory needs some new ways of playing the game."

You are an Idiot for putting the last option. This is Basil.

I think you are extremely foolish for putting "rap3" as the 3rd option.

I think CBs can incorporate a little bit of range into melee attacking. Assaulter's range increase is amazing. =Ds

Probably, but Nexon is probably wasting their time on something else that we probably don't need.
