Is there even a point to maxing Thunder Spear anymore?

I find maxing booster or seal more useful than thunder spear nowadays...is that how ice lightnings usually do their builds now? Edit: Hah thank you guides >.>

Yeah, cause it's fun and cool and good for bossing. I love using it in boss rush pq and it's not even maxed yet. Nothing better to max too.

It looks cool, it goes through walls, it's affected by elemental weapons, and it gets a 1.5x boost from elemental weaknesses instead of 1.25x. But it can't freeze, it's slower, has a lower DPM, and has fewer elemental advantages.

yes there's a point: orignality xD imagine if no one help you with elderwraiths quest....tsk tsk clawing them? hmmmmm....lower damage than comp and higher than cold beam on neutral, highest damage on lightning weak, and who cares what you or i max it's not like you gonna use it forever anyway....

Since the elemental boost from Ele Wands doesn't effect Comp, will Comp still have higher DPM that TS if I am using an Ele Wand 3?

Err... well if comp is maxed, and there is one point in TS and you're using ele wand 3.... say your normal TS damage is 1000 and comp damage is 2500.. TS will get a 25% boost from the wand which will make it do 1250 instead of 1,000, while comp will still do 2500. If BOTH are maxed, and TS does 3000 and comp does 2500, ele wand 3 will make TS do 3750 while comp still does 2500.. but comp is faster. So if you're only concern is DPM, then yes, Comp would do more damage in either situation.

i'm putting 6-7 points total in comp + TS for fun... don't really need or want either, esp. w/ an ele, and then maxxing out slow and PR. XD
