| Before you read anything! - There'll be lots of mistakes, please leave a post saying what I missed. - When it's released, it may be different to other versions. - Don't ask when it's coming out, this is partly why I made this. - Good luck with the skill. - Read the bottom about the all plagarism and copy pasting crap. When will it come out? OMG! I'm thinking it's going to be released next patch with KoC. To make Reverse Weapons(?), apparently the maker skill is needed. So it's logical to assume it should be coming out very soon. How do I obtain the Maker skill? Who can obtain it? Characters have to be at least level 45 to obtain the skill. Also keep in mind, only characters with a job can obtain it. No perma-beginners, (lucky I quit mine...). The way to obtain the skill is very easy, but at least Nexon just let everyone get it just like that. Talk to Stan in Magatia, he'll give you the quest to see Hughes the Fuse in Orbis Tower B2. So go over to Hughes, just talk to him, go back to Stan, and you got it! No hunting or items are required! What equips can I make? Your maker skill will start at 1, and can be levelled from quests unlocked at level 75 and 105. A higher level allows you to forge higher level equipment. There are 3 levels to the maker skill. Level 1 allows you to forge equipment ranging from 50 to 70. Level 2 allows you to forge equipment ranging from 50 to 100. Level 3 allows you to forge equipment ranging from 50 to 120. You can create any weapon, overall, top/bottom, shoe, glove and helmet that your class uses. Also, to forge the item, you must be 5 levels away from being able to equip it. So if you're a level 55, make your level 60 equipment straight away if your planning to make it. Comman class and maple items cannot be forged. So this cancels out earrings and capes and all the maple items. How do I make them? There are two reagents to make a piece of equipment, and one optional one. 1. Magic Powder. There's 8 different types of powder, each having different colours. Think of the Powder as Dye. If the piece of armor your creating is blue, the powder needed will be the blue Magic Powder. Black Powder is the most common needed as most equipment is black. Brown is also needed for all the pirates. The powder drops from monsters at rate similiar to ores. 2. Monster Crystals There are 9 different monster crystals. However 3 groups and then 3 grades to classify them. They are forged by combining 100 ETC items from a monster, (further explational below). The 3 groups are Low Grade, Mid Grade and High Grade, inside those are the ranks of A, B and C. Rarely the crystal doesn't fit in with the items level range, but meh. Figure that yourself Low Grade C Crystal - Used to forge level 50 items. Forged by combining 100 ETC items dropped by monsters with a level 31 - 50. Low Grade B Crystal - Used to forge level 51 - 60 items. Forged by combining 100 ETC items dropped by monsters with a level 51 - 60. Low Grade A Crystal - Used to forge level 51 |
