I just made this song, "Timeless Tokyo", not too long ago. In this song, I stuck to a basic melody, but I explored the different types of sounds I could combine to complement other instruments. Check it out here : link What do you think of it? :]

It sounds really nice so far, but I'm only @ the beginning. I liek the tune + the drum- like sounds. =] Edit: @ above: I have the same question.

It's just fine, kinda amateur but since you're just starting it's fine. I needs more beats, it's lacking layers of beats. It doesn't sound complete...

More instrumentsssss Put like a tinyyyy bit of vocals in it that has been altered. Oh dang. Just kidding. I got to the part when the violin part came in. I like this part alot. The song however is extremely repetitive. Make another similar and make the song like an ABA pattern to have more complexity. I do like it though :D

But I suck at singing. And I agree that it may be a little repetitive, but it's a simple song to listen to. It's like a tune for the sore ears. Just listen to it, sit back, and enjoy the feel of the song.
