| Well, update your hardware. More RAM and a better processor would help. And, if you are using your computer for gaming, maybe look into a better graphics card. |

| This'll probably minimize lag. Run a Disk Cleanup. Winkey+R -> "cleanmgr". Run a Disk Defrag. Winkey+R -> "dfrg.msc". Close all other running programs. Log onto MapleStory -> Menu -> System Option -> Picture Quality -> Normal (Fast) |

| Oh, I forgot to add. Try using CCleaner and Defraggler. Two great programs by Piriform. CCleaner deletes any junk files, cookies, etc. that can "clog" up your system and fixes registry errors that can slow down your computer. Defraggler helps to "unclog" your system also by defragmenting your hard drive. These 2 programs can help reduce lag a bit and work better than the preinstalled Microsoft stuff (both are free). |
