There's a baby duck waddling around my backyard alone and chirping alot. What should I do with it?

Ducks don't chirp (though I may be wrong about ducklings) Leave it alone. The mother is probably close by.

Look around for the mother and keep an eye on it, if you don't see the mother call the humane society or your town version of animal control. I used to live in South Dakota and this happened a lot when the ducks would nest in the little ponds/creeks in town..something might have happened to the mother.
