HP Washing for Night Lord, necessary?

Hi, I was just wondering before I start an Assassin if a Night Lord is capable of fighting powerful monsters like Horntail and Pink Bean with its limited HP. Are there times when a Night Lord is completely excluded from a party because it can't survive the high damage dealt by these monsters? When are they capable of taking hits from these monsters? Since I am a sort of "perfectionist", I haven't been able to train the rogue to an Assassin mainly because I understand that wearing INT equips will help you increase MP boost per lvl, with the formula being: every 10 INT= an additional MP boost. Of course, there is slightly luck involved when it comes to HP/MP increase, but it is certain that the more tens of INT you wear, the more MP you have. In the future, when you are a Night Lord, it is easy to see what advantages such high MP will give you over average Night Lords. Also, the purpose of wearing INT equips right before you level is that you can increase your MP so that you will be able to decrease it through HP washing, thus allowing you to boost your HP. Now, about HP washing. I have never spent money on games, but for NX, I don't see a problem spending $25 or so on a game where many players spend so much more (of course, I shouldn't compare to them, but I really have not much to spend on besides Maplestory). I was wondering that if I do do HP wash, when should I do it? Will I get the most benefit at beginning levels (so that impact of increase HP will affect throughout leveling on the character), or it does not matter at all whatever level I HP wash at? This is money I will be spending on a game, so I am concerned with how to utilize such limited money. Thanks so much. P.S. I know $25 will not make much of HP washing, but if each point helps ~20-40 HP, it may be helpful for Night Lord class that lack HP.

Most wash/blood when they're closer to 150ish when most NLs first go to HT so they have a better idea of how much they actually need in addition to do so (since the HP you gain per level isn't also a single, exact amount). Even though our HP is low, it's usually not a problem for most until much later on. So start thinking about it in your 130's? xD Even though having Int items early will help, it's not likely that you'll have a problem with the MP limit (Limit = Your Lvl x 14 +148) unless for some reason you decide to wash very early or do like super duper massive HP washing. xD And definitely, when you begin washing/blooding to make sure that you are able to get into a HT/PB run when you finish washing/blooding. I mean, it's total fail if ya do all the +HP stuff and can't get into a run yeah? xD And ofcourse you'll get excluded from runs if you don't have enough HP. No one wants an attacker that lasts 2 seconds. But with proper planning, you shouldn't ever come into this situation. xD P.S. If I were you, I'd spend those 25 bucks elsewhere, the levels where ya need to be concerned about HP washing/blooding is still very far away! xD Edit: And I do mean far away. I'm Lvl 131, haven't washed yet, but I have almost 3.7k HP. I have almost 20 levels to gain 1k HP to HT. xD

No I'm pretty sure it's impossible for ranged classes to kill pink been as of now. I've heard the weakest attack requires you have at least 8.9k hp without hb, which is almost impossible for a NL. The only valid reason for hp washing is being able to solo certain bosses earlier, or be able to fight horntail earlier. Not much else.

Wow, it really sucks for these classes to not be able to actually participate in killing a powerful boss in Maplestory. Hopefully there will be something else to counter-balance that. Also, will $25 HP Wash do much? If it doesn't matter at all when I HP Wash (like, if I HP wash at lvl 10, it will take the same effect onward as if I HP Wash at level 130+), then I will want to HP Wash earlier to get the most potential, right? I'll just keep leveling it until Black Friday, where AP resets will be at its cheapest. Note that this all seems vague to me, but I'm still young... (yeah right).

Even though the early washing will help you with early HP bonus, it's not like HP is a problem for most Hermits/NLs until 150+ (I'm comfortable if a monster's max hit is my HP-1). But it's not like early additional HP is a bad thing. If you think the early HP washing is worth your cash, go for it. xD And the Black Friday sales wait is a great idea. If you can be patient enough until then, it'll definitely pay off. xD |
