Attention: Do not be alarmed by the huge amount of text! (Btw, I hit the character limit) This is a collection of short writings: Fahla said: "Wow, those were really, really good. For those of you who haven't read them, read a few, they're pretty cool." Yos5 said: "Wow those were actually good. Some of them were pretty moving. Good job. " Note from the author: The title of this anthology is Box of Chocolates. Initially, I hated the name because over the years that phrase has become overused and clich�d. As I thought about it though, the title became more and more appealing to me. �Life is like a box o� chocolates�. As you read through my anthology you will find many different snippets of life, each with its own story to tell. It may seem like a big read at first, but it -just as life does- begins to take flight and you hardly notice all the time that has passed. Pick and read only a few at first, but you�ll find yourself addicted thereafter. You�ll essentially be addicted to life, and what�s better than that? ---- This the Eighth version. Alone, Twoface, Broken, Flushed, To Be and Abide, Little Fish, and The Mug are the newest additions. ---- Thanks to ICantKS for the anthology title. Special thanks to Silverleaf28 and Tracelegacy for great editing. And thanks to all others who have helped me with editing. I really couldn't effectively edit by myself, and it is really appreciated. Also thanks to Breckersen who has the most current section divisions. Other divisions are still appreciated. Thanks to all of those who are reading all of my writings regularly and supporting them through all of it. ~Enjoy~ Box of Chocolates Table of Contents On___ Hope Power Innocence Emotion Relationships Other On___ On Happiness Have you ever seen a small boy smile? Not just smirk at something or grin knowing that he did something wrong, but actually be*ar his teeth in full and smile, the feeling just radiating from his face - forcing itself upon you and embracing itself and evolving into an epidemic that is impossible to avoid. Have you? It may seem a bit creepy, me going on and on about a child�s smile, but I find it interesting, interesting in the fact that the child smiles, that the child is experiencing happiness, embracing it. Happiness. Not just a feeling of content-ness or satisfaction, not just a feeling of completion or smugness, but true happiness. It is almost overwhelming sometimes, not in a detrimental way like sadness can be, but it becomes almost paradoxical; instead of drowning in the happiness you begin to breathe in it. When you drown in happiness you do not falter, but instead you excel � transcend even - you have motive to keep going, to continue the familiar feeling of warm rays upon your face. It fills you up and continues to overflow over the brim, but you don�t mind it spilling over onto your shoes, you actually have come to enjoy it, and welcome the mess upon your feet, because it is happiness. Aspiring to be a great author I see? You have talent I am sure but the level of writing still seems stuck. You need to boost up the metaphoric writing. Overall; Great Job.l

There are some pretty metaphoric ones in there.
