Ok so i know this thread could turn into a massive flamey mess...but How do you feel about a Transexual, a crossdresser, a Transvestite etc. Im currently very confused about my gender and my life right now. One of the things that is a big put-off for being female is..well.. the fact that its considered to be so wrong. Also the fact that even if you have surgery, you can still look like a obvious man. EDIT: To add some more about me. Sometimes i feel very unhappy about my body. But i can just be a crossdresser..because i dont pass. I could wear makeup, but i look stupid. Eye makeup makes me look like i have black eyes really. The worst thing to me is when people that are trans, go out in public with terrible clothing or makeup, are seen to be male, and then complain that they are harrased. I know to them they might feel good about themselves..but i just grinds my gears.

They confuse me.

Nothing wrong with transsexuals, I get that there's the whole confused gender identity and they're in the wrong body from birth, which is reason enough for a sex change. Crossdressers and transvestites (same thing, right?) confuse me a bit though...are they like transsexuals mentally but they just don't go through surgery?

I say 'whatever floats your boat' then keep on moving.

Transvestites would prefer not to have a sex change, but would still like to play dress up. On topic: A sex change, if it is necessary, is a choice that I respect very highly. Also, one of the most attractive men I've ever met was an ex-woman; sometimes, it's probably the best choice one could make. As for transvestites, if they can look good in a dress, they can go right ahead.

Normally a crossdresser is a hetrosexual man that does it as a sort of fetish, instead of to be a woman. Therefore they wouldnt want to become a woman, just dress like one.

I went to school with this guy turned gal. He had the surgery and was in the process of taking hormones and his boobs were way nicer than most girls I know lol. Mad funny kid though. I'm fine with them, it's just crazy to me making such a big decision like that.

Nothing is wrong with them. They're actually pretty cool people

LiveGreeni think it's weird. lots of people haven't like something about their body, but they never do something as...drastic as that. and i'd imagine that people who choose to do that get harassed alot a few weeks ago @ mcdonalds a crossdreser walked in and the room got quiet cause every1 was staring at him, and you could hear every1 giggling. some people were being obvious about it and pointing/taking pictures

Well I at least know the distinction now. I guess I comprehend the reasoning behind transvestites more than crossdressers though.

I wasnt even dressed in girls clothes, just had some descrete foundation, and hair extensions. I entered a store and the kids outside were all like OMG TRANNIE. Some of them even followed me into the shop and were laughing. It was quite a distressing time for me.

I don't like some of them because they DO NOT look good trans....at all. And I hate when they trans then become ghey. -_-
