So I hit a girl today

Well, we were playing flag football at school for an event. And I had to sub out. There was a girl that also was sub'ed. She was all like "Can I punch you?". I was "Yea sure." I wasn't in the best of mood, since we were losing and our quarter-back was a dumb[censor]. So she hit me in the arm, not very playfully though, like a punch. And she was like "That wasn't my hardest, wait a sec", she hits me again, then again. I didn't want to seem like a wimp and lose all of my masculinity , so i didn't say like "ow stop" or something. So then I said "Can I hit you now?". I was planning on playfully hitting her :D But apparently I don't know my [censor]ing strength, I hit her in the arm meaning not to be mean or anything. It left a red mark and the other guy there started to tell me how I hit her hard. So here's where I REALLY screwed up. I blamed it on the Quarter-Back being dumb and not passing it ever. So then when he gets sub'd, the girl is still sub'd out. She tells him that "I hit her because I was mad at him", not mentioning her hitting me 3 times before that. So now I look like an [censor]hole because the story is that I "Took out my anger on the q-b by hitting a girl super hard" T_T Also, this couldn't come at a better day, since tomorrow is our last day of school. I'm in 8th grade BTW. Thanks to anyone that reads this, please tell me any advice or what I should do/should have done.

Dude don't worry about it. You're still at an age where there isn't a big enough distinction between boys and girls for it to matter that you hit her. Just apologize to her and be done with it...maybe.

Considering its last day of school tomorrow (for me too!) just suck up the insults tomorrow and people will forget about it be next year. EDIT:Also, why the hell did you tell a girl she could hit you? Thats just stupid. She may as well have asked "Can i tie an anchor around your neck and throw you into a lake?"
