Corsair training spots?

Hi I just want to know what other corsairs on Basil trained on in early 12x, so I can evaluate what my true training spot should be for sure. I train at skeles for now but am unsure if this is the right place for me to go to. But I'm thinking of going to newties though. Should I stay where I'm at? or should I go somewhere else like newties? Thanks for your help, much appreciated.

From what I've heard, newties with a bishop/AM is the best exp your going to get. But I can't really talk from experience.

I am a solo trainer. I trained on newts until 126, then switched to Skeles in the mini dungeon. I got my cannon to 11 then raised torp to 22(700% x 6 monsters). I did that because I wanted to leave newts as soon as possible. Those 2 newts will be fine for you if you do the cannon build or torpedo build. Now that Time temple is coming out, you may have better alternatives. A party with a bishop is the fastest training you will get.
