Why do people think they must get hogs?

As title says, anyways I remembered this when I saw the other thread about whether a hermit should get one or not. The other day I was on my way to Leafre, and this guy is like, "Wow, your lvl80 and don't have a hog your noob." I look at him and I'm like, "Dude, I have max tele, and why the hell do you have one, your a hermit!" He's like, "Everyone gets a hog, your like the highest lvl I've seen with one." We get to Leafre and in that middle area by Chief (insert hard to spell name here) and there are atleast 4 lvl120+'s without a hog. I'm like, "See!" He defamed me and logged. -_-

I guess he hasn't seen many NLs. Many NLs I know don't have a Hog/Mane (including myself). xD

Like I say, if you're a Mage or Thief, you don't -ever- need a Hog to get around fast. I got a Hog right after I turned 3rd Job because I -really- wanted one. I never got a chance to get one with my first account because it was hacked so I just really wanted one for myself. I think a lot of people get Hogs just because it's just another ''accessory'' for their character like NX or whatever.

Well, Brawlers need a hog for convenience. Getting my Brawler around can be rediculously long.

i dont have a hog on my maruader lvl 91 sader 82 cb 78 priest 95 or nl 133 there pretty much useless for nl and magicians.

I don't have a hog. Recoil+wings is faster then a red draco. (I've tested it)
