Just wondering, when cygnus comes out to GMS, which one will be the cheapest? (I kinda wanna make a striker, will it be easier or harder to fund than a regdex sin like the one i have now?) Or, if it turns out they actually can wear normal equips (im not sure XD) Which one would be the cheapest to fund? Im talking about reg. stat classes Thanks!

A lukless flame mage is probably the cheapest to make. I'd recommend getting an ele wand 1 though before they come out since considering all the people that plan on making lukless ones already, it will probably inflate -_-.

You guys are stupid if you think Flame Wizards will be cheap. I play kMS, and I started out with a Flame Wizard. Pot costs alone will kill you, and by the time you hit 70+ you either sacrifice money for pots or you sacrifice a lot of good EXP. Strikers and Soulmasters will probably be the most expensive when it comes to equips, because they tend to follow the DEXless or LowDEX paths. My vote is a Windbreaker, as the Archer Classes have always stood in the cheaper grounds.

If you have the equips for a reg dex sin, you could transfer them over to the thief KoC since they can wear normal equips.

Mage: High potion cost due to no Mp recovery. Night Walker: Stars. Nuff said. Striker: I'd guess in the middle range of pot cost. Soul Master:Same with Striker I believe Wind Breaker:Soul Arrow cancels later cost of arrows. And as Maske said "the Archer Classes have always stood in the cheaper grounds." Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

By the 2nd job they get a fire version of poison mist of which will enable firezards to be training on high lv monsters at early lvs =O. Besides that, you forgot that the majority of lower level people that don't leech/ grind tend to pq so pots really shouldn't be a problem until fire mages start relying on their ultimates (I think they max them around 8x or 9x but 30 lvs of pots shouldn't be rediculously expensive). Finally, firezards can also be used as leech mules (since they get their ultimate earlier on) so money should be the LEAST of their worries. Also, as I said before you only really need an ele wand 1 to excell as a lukless fire mage (since they can't use the lv 130 ones). If they have an estimate of 683 base multiply it by 1.25 (which is the percent addition of ele wand 1 on a lukless) = 853.75 magic not including other int/ magic equips. If figure in 15 int (clean zhelm), 15 magic (cheap 20 mil 5/10 int earrings), 10 magic from wgs (cheap 40-50m 6/4 wgs), 15 int robe (75-85mish), 5 int from a dep star (only 30mil), 2 int from a clean maple mage shield (only 25mish clean ;P), and 2 int lv 20 shoes (since they are cheaper than yss); That budgeted mage will have a magic of 747 *1.25= 933.75 magic (Which is pretty oustanding for a minimally funded character ;P). P.S. As for pots, gms has 40% and 75% gins and 60% honster mp pots (Only available in NLC though ;P). |
