So I got owned by a couple of ants

(How long do ant bites and swelling take to heal? =o) Answer this if you don't feel like reading Details about what happened: So last night I went to this cops and robbers game with my friends, its where like 1/3 of the people there are cops and 2/3 are robbers, the "cops" drive in their cars and have passengers who jump out and chase down the "robbers". And you have to make it to a certain destination, which in this case was 3 miles away. Well anyways, the point of this question, is that my friends and I were robbers and we ran through this field and came to a fence. We decided to hop the fence and when we did a couple "cop cars" went through the street next to us, we were on top of this hill kinda, and the street the "cops" were driving on was down below. We decided to lay down to try and be less seen, even though it was like 11pm, they still could have seen us. Well apparently me and my friend lied down on an ant hill or something. I didn't notice getting bit until we ran a little farther and my friend and I started to itch really bad. I look at my arms and I had about 20 bites on my arms and hands, and I have this area on my leg where I got bit about 10 times. I know it was ants because I found 2 crawling around on my hand. So the bites don't really itch anymore, but the bumps are still there, and also I got bit on top of my left-hand little finger (pinky) and it swelled up really big for some reason, I can only bend it about 40% of the way down, kinda feels like wearing a band-aid around the joint on your finger. It is kind of a funny story about how it happened I guess, and lesson learned: make sure to not lay down on an ant hill, they don't really like it.

God help you if it was a fire ant. I got bit by ONE of them on my ankle, and it swelled up to me KNEE. I was in the hospital for a week with IV +_+

DUDE i got my ant bites on my neck while playing cops and robers too lol! this happened 3 years ago though. I was standing next to a tree that had ant hills.. >.> didnt see them.
