A good party class other than cleric?

I'm curious what you all think a useful class to have in a party would be besides a cleric (simply because I already have one). I like to party when I play on MS, so I want to play a class that people will actually want to invite into a party (solo = boring as hell to me). Also could you tell me why the class you recommend is wanted in a party?

spearman-hb fighters-rage rogues class in general- haste 4th job brawler-time skip or whatever definatly 4th job bowman -S.e cant live without thats pretty much the usefullness of all classes other then mage

Spearman, DK's, and DrK's, for sure. HB is one of the best buffs in the game. My personal favorite is SE though, works great with Barrage during training.

Well Bishs and AMs are good too. With their blizzard and genesis they pwn. Priests also have heal and HS. AMs are good for their attacks.

Right so, I should go spearman then by the votes so far, as more people seem to like them. Hmm, now the trick is just male or female character. I'm female, but my friends all say female armors for warriors are really hard to find, so I might be better off just playing a guy-character (if guys can play as girls, surely it can go the other way 'round too?)
