High dex = not so bad anymore?

I was just wondering because i have fairly high dex (81) Because of all the str scrolls becoming more accesible and with time temple requireing much more accuracy is high dex not so bad? i realise you can go low dex and still atain the acc required to train at time temple, but would str equips be cheaper at that point?

STR overalls are almost non-existant. No one scrolls them. With a STR top, perfect, thats 27 STR from 7 Slots. With a STR overall, perfect, thats 56 STR from 10 Slots. Then factor in a perfect DEX bottom with 3 base DEX, 24 DEX for 7 Slots. Which means you need 24 less DEX. And then with the ACC boost of the pants, you'd need even less. 27+24=51. Str overall has 5 more str, but Acc from shoes, Zhelm, Pendant, Medal, Belt, and the extra ACC boost of pants depending on speed or acc, you would have a considerably higher amount of STR than a STR overall. I'm sorry but High-Dex won't do as much damage as Low-Dex/Dex-Less, your advantage is being able to Hit Horntail without extra DEX equips, but that's about it. Mind you, I'm 60 DEX also and I regret it =[. Zhelm+MoN is Acc overkill ;_;

You should use equips that people would legitimately have, not equips which favor your stance on the matter. Honestly, your Dex is a bit, but from what I've heard TT requires like 16X (?) ACC to 100% the monsters so while having a higher base Dex does help you,m it doesnt completely absolve ( cant think of a better word atm ) of your high dex. 50 - 60 Base Dex 40 - Zhelm 20 - MoN 20 - Mastery 15 -Top/ Bottoms 10 - Shoes With 60 base dex, and pretty much average or so equips you would have about 155 ACC ( yes I rounded and left out luck ), and with 80 base dex you would have around 170 ACC. That being said, as you can get, getting to 15X ACC isnt too hard, so getting the required ACC for TT shouldnt be too hard. All it means ( which hasnt really changed as of late ) is that if you for some reason have dex/acc equips, you can change them for strength ones.

Yah yah, from a 139 Acc point of view though, that's a bit overkill. Course the situation's different for a Sader cause of NRWs/STs. And legitimate equips actually favor me more, since most people can manage a 20 str top+ 15 DEX bot, but not many can manage a 35 STR overall.

I'm gathering funds to lower my dex.... Dexless will always be stronger you just can't match up to dexless people with high dex... Coming from a high dex hero here. >.>

@ phaxen and sureynot i know dexless will outdamage high dex, most of the dexless warriors have 500m+ fundings but what im saying is that by not going low dex and having high dex, is it not as bad anymore because of the scrolling for str opportunities and needing to be able to hit monsters at TT? and NWR and ST

umm... i'd have 165 acc if i had my MoN, and i have 10 base dex... my point is that it is more than possible to get 163+ base acc, even with no dex so no, high dex is nto beneficial, regardless of the situation

I have a ST equiped with medium funding (about 150M) and I have 75 base dex... no zhelm yet but thats another 10 dex i can shave off

With the proper equipment, you can be dexless and still have enough ACC. I haven't checked lately with all my equips, but at level 66 and a Rohen, I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 16x ACC. The only thing that'll change at higher levels is I'll probably drop my 30dex/15acc overall for a STR top and DEX bottom, but I'll also gain 20 acc from my Black Crystal Blade, and at lv110, I'll get a MoN. I can get even more if I decide to scroll my zhelm for ACC, too. Maybe TT does require higher ACC, but if you have the money for it, it's still very possible to be fully dexless.

It all depends on funds. If you have vast amounts of meso then being DEXless is obviously better. I have a 50 base DEX Pali, it's wearing about 400m+ of gear and has 156 acc with no pill. My Pali friend has 4 base DEX and 159 acc. That's a huge deal, it's all about funds. STR scrolls don't make up for adding DEX because a lot of DEX scrolls add ACC, 1 DEX = 0.8 ACC. So scrolling for acc and adding STR = more damage than scrolling for STR and adding DEX.
