Are XBowman Fun/Cheap?

Are crossbowman cheap to play? And are they fun? Any perks? Any faults? I care about you opinion as much as my own ^_^

yea they are pretty fun and HECKA easy to fund the only thing is that i sometimes envy bowmen atk speed but then i use freeze and i feel better

Sometimes i wish i clicked xbowman instead of hunter this is why: 1-They are WAY cheaper (114 att bow lvl 100 = 105str = 29xm --while-- 12x att xbow lvl 100 = 100 str = 5x-10xm) but this is mostly on bow, because every other equips = same pricefor both archer class. 2-Yes they are quite fun (or seem like) because they dont need a good hawk since they can freeze and have freezer in 4th job. They can also snipe every 5 sec (at lvl 30) and that bring the dmg on boss quickly as fast as bm. Altough, they have a great mob capability compare to ranegr/bm... 3- They can top at newty so that make them easyly taked (since every1 now is bm or class that can only bottom or mid.) 4- They have se as well so its as much fun or more fun then bm since they have more attack then us in 4th job.

Haha, no way a 12x atk crossbow is gonna be 5x-10x mill ! If I put my 121atk 2dex shiner for 50mill in shop, I guarantee you it's gone in a VERY short time!

Ok maybe not 5x m, more 10x-15xm but you understood wat i meant: xbow are WAY cheaper then bow and pass +20 att, 1 att normally add like 10-50m depend on stats...

I think mines now around 175mill, they're rising because of the lack of HTers. And especially a 129atk, isn't even near 15xmill. My guess is more like 1bill? Probably even more.... Ofcourse they're a cheaper (thank god!). Cheaper xbows+our better dex-multiplier(+snipe) have to make up for the damage difference caused by BM's hurricane firing 267arrows per min more with the same atk as strafe arrows.

If someone sees jumping off a cliff as fun, it might cause you having a heartattack if you do. Therefore I suggest you decide if you want to try out crossbowman or not. I didnt said a 129 atk was worthing 15x m it sure it worth high (its a end-game weapon or near from it) but a 121 att xbow wasnt sold in the fm for 175m while a 113 att bow had been sold for 204m. And xbow price arent going up as much as bow did.

I love my sniper very much. The only downside I've encountered so far is the scarcity of scrolled xbows and str overalls.

Yes they are cheap. That is your opinion, I love my sniper, but it may not mean you'll love one too. They're one of the heaviest hitting class in maple, pretty balanced in 1v1 and mobbing skills.

But you make a lot misassumptions: 1 The xbow might not be sold because the demand is low , but don't forget that there's little to NO supply , so the prices are still rising. 2 The prices of xbows didn't go up as much as bows because the price curve isn't like this , but more something like this . 3 They're this expensive because everyone thinks/thought/has been thinking that hunters/rangers/Bowmasters are alot better than crossbowmen/snipers/Marksmen. Thank god, because hurricane is so fast and decently strong that we need something better than snipe+better dex multiplier only, to make up for that. b3rrycherry said: "low hp lack of speed when walking" only 2 things I gotta say to this are: -HP wash/Bloodbuilding (Putting AP into HP, and washing them or not), -Thrust. You might not have a high lvl yet, but my lvl10thrust=20speed + 12speed shiner cross + 2 speed shoes + maple cape cause me to have already over max speed. When I replace my maple cape when I got money again i'll still have 134 speed, which is near the same as haste.
