Can someone please fill me in as to what "aran" is? o_O" Is it like, a new job like koc or something?

Aran is a new race, which is currently available in the test server of the Korean version of MapleStory. It will be officially released on 9th, July 2009. By default, players must create an Aran character with tan skin. The Aran race starts in a "Maple Island alike" area called Lienne, an icy snow covered barbaric area . Aran Race use Pole Arms for weapons and are themed as Icy cold barbaric race which has the power of wolfs. Like Knight Of Cygnus, in the Selecting character screen, there will be a bamboo image identifying the character as Aran. On top of all that has already been said, they also have a new combo system created just for them. You increase your combo counter by continuously hitting monsters, and as it increases your damage does too. On top of that some of their skills can only be used if your combo counter is over a certain value.
