i have a vista and i heard vista ppl dc and u hav to press alt tab during the run... exactly when do u press it and what if u die right after u press alt tab? i would rly like to know. thanks.

hmm, alt-tab switchs programs, so you get out of maple or switch maple to another program. I am sure you dont do that.

alt-tab gets u from maplestory (ingame) to ur desktop alt-enter gets ur maplestory from full screan to a window

i cant play windowed mode for some reason... i guess ill lower quality... when do u exactly lower it? what if i die while im trying to open and change the setting window

Set all your settings, including bgm and sound to the lowest possible before a zak run. If you start lagging when the zak body dies, alt tab twice quickly, and hope your comp complies quick enough to guarantee your life. Vista just sucks. Lags alot, and alot of people dc at the changing from 2nd to 3rd body if they're on vista, which is why they alt tab quickly out and in to ensure they don't dc.

You alt tab before the last arm dies. The last arm shouldnt do much damage to kill you in 2 hits and there should be a bishop healing you if your a buyer. People alt tab to avoid the glitch where during 3rd body zak disappears and reappears alot (if this happens, when zak dies you auto dc). Idk what the people above me are talking about since changing quality gives me a 5-8 second lag spike.

You want to change the quality a step every time a body dies, as soon as a HP bar for the body is depleted and the Zakum body changes (you'll notice he looks more damaged when he goes Zakum 1-> Zakum 2-> Zakum 3). I personally only Alt-Enter on runs where HB is needed, just in case, though I've yet to DC without doing it. EDIT: That spike usually only occurs the first time you do it in a run. I much prefer the Alt-Enter method though.

Auto HP doesn't ALWAYS work . . . It doesn't work as well, when you're semi-lagging.

^is BS so tried everything in my vista, just go to a friends house, or get a computer with XP, any computer with any Specs willl support ZAK some VIsta Users do not have this problem, or it happens randomly to them
