Outlaw vs. Hermit?

Okay well, something is REALLY confusing me. I've been checking topics lately. Seen people with the... Outlaw > Hermit. Other people say Hermit > Outlaw. I have no idea what to believe now. o_o Oh yeah, and when you comment be sure to provide good info/evidence. with your theory.

I am sure its Corsair> NL at DPS, if you are talking about 3rd job, then Hermit will win at DPS

Outlaws, because they're not allergic to Dex, they've put up with being weak in earlier class tiers, and they have more than one attacking skill. OSHI

3rd job, Outlaws will probably be better at training due to the sheer amount of new skills able to be used, better mobbing, and can freeze. Also, there are summons that actively attack (Octo, Gav), not just when you attack. (SP) However, in raw 1v1 damage, Hermit.

In windaider, I'v had many ks wars (friendly) with many hermits, around my lvl. Usually a bit higher lvl than me. They use their avenger to ruin my exp. So i do the same with my Ice Splitter/Flamethrower, which gets em pissed. i use gernade to annoy them too ^.^ My favorite is that Bird: gavitoa. Then the hermit is about to kill that mob, my bird just kills it quick, i laugh at that. But overall, they are still good. I see them do like 8-10k dmg (with shadow partner) i do 9k-11k dmg, but man...their avenger i hate...xD recoil shot is kinda like flashjump dash is kinda like haste hermits are fun to have ks war with (firendly though!) but Cheif Bandits are another story when it comes to ks wars in windraider -.-

well they are both similar, i have played both, but i like hermit better. well the point is, they both have something that they have advantage on, so i dont believe in determining which is better unless you have a specific topic like DPS, skills, lvling rate, dmg.

The Outlaw's main 1v1 skill(Burst Fire) does 570% damage. The Hermit's main 1v1 skill(Lucky 7 + Shadow Partner) does 450% damage without crit. So unless a Hermit crits twice or more, an Outlaw will out damage it.

Battleship Cannon and Battleship Torpedo are though :D Cannon is extreme high 1v1 and Torpedo is decent mobbing. Also, Rapid Fire has been proven solo to be more effective then Triple throw with SP, because of Bullseye, and the added attack of the octos. Maybe even without the octos.
