Chemistry: How do you remember endothermic and exothermic?

My exam is on Tuesday, and right now I don't have a way of memorizing it. Does anyone have any helpful tricks on how to remember which one means heat is being used, and which one means heat is being generated?

Exo: remember exoskeletons? Outside. Exothermic means something that gives off heat. Endothermic: Of course, is the opposite of exo. It absorbs heat.

Well the way I remember it is that "exo" in exothermic reminds me of exude, which means to give off. :o

Exothermic = gives off heat Endothermic = opposite. There, just remember that o_O

I dunno, I just remember it o_o But maybe , Endo is like In do so it takes in heat. Exo is just opposite so it releases heat.

Remember Exo-Outside Endothermic is the opposite of exothermic, so if you remember essentially one of them, then you will remember the other.

So if you double pressure and divide temperature by 4, then the volume is decreased by a factor of 8 (I think?)
