Buying a BB gun

Well I saw a BB gun when I was at Wal Mart. I wanted to buy one and play with it a little bit. I looked on youtube and people collect these guns and have them and it looks really fun to collect and stuff so I wanted to try it too. I never used a BB gun before so if anybody here is knowledgable about BB guns can you tell me what I should look for? What are the most important aspects in choosing one? Also, where is a good place to buy one in Las Vegas, Nevada that has a large variety to choose from? Thanks for your answers.

BB or airsoft? 0_o (i assume its airsoft because it was in wal-mart...) either way, online is the way to go (if you wanna buy one)

Okay wait what is the difference between BB or airsoft? And I never actuallly bought anything online. How do I know which sites are trustworthy?

aSin4LifeI live in Walnut, CA, so there's this huge collectibles show which is basically a HUGE swap meet for Collectible stuff. There are about 3-4 stores that are based on the selling and trading of airsoft guns. I'm good friends with all of them and right now I'm trying to get a $150 Sniper Rifle + Scope for about 100 bucks. But I highly suggest you buy online. I know a site but it's saved on my other computer =/ EDIT - The Collectible Show is called "Frank and Son" it's pretty cool

I would prefer to buy from a store or something so I know I'm getting it 100%. Can someome tell me more about airsoft/BB guns?

EDIT - A lot of different companies are better with certain guns. I know that Under the Gun is good with Sniper Rifles

Well like I said, I'm new to this so I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for. I'm looking for some kind of pistol though. tkoh thanks for those links

Probably wanna go an FPS of around 150-200, spring (unless you feel rich and wanna go for a gas, dunno if they come in electric). If the person selling to you is asking you if you want Hop-up say "Nooooooooo" Trust me, hop-up is horrible on pistols >_<
