I'm worried about a very close friend of mine. She has been indirectly trying to catch my attention for some time now, but I'm not sure how to respond, for fear it may be the last time I do. Due to what I hope is college, we seldom have the chance to speak; though we remain close, our friendship is strained. I would like more than anything in the world to reestablish our friendship. Unfortunately, I believe I may soon lose my opportunity; her personal message is as follows: I'm giving up the past and everyone in it. Goodbye my love, may fate let us meet at a better place.

Can you call her phone? Wait is she going to suicide? I don't know how much time you have but I would try and establish contact ASAP. Talk about how close you two are and how you feel about her (if you have any romantic feelings for her) and talk about how devastated you would be as well as the rest of her friends and family. Ask her what her problem is and tell ehr how she can deal with it, not alone, but with you. Convince her everything she is going to miss out of on life, and why life is worth living for.

Just tell her up front the truth of how you feel You're in process of losing her if you do nothing, so you have nothing to lose..since there's no 'right' action to take so at least let yourself alllll out. and hope for the best.
