Dark Basement. I've probably already said enough but I'll go into detail anyways. I forget what was needed from the basement, all I know is that is was in a can. I was asked to go down in the basement and get this canned treasure, but the light bulb burned out. My loving mother reassured me nothing was down there but I was still hesitant. I took literally 10 minutes to walk down those stairs, ready to sprint back to the door at the drop of a pin. Luckily the can is within arm's reach so I lean and grab. But just as I reach it the door slams shut. My imagination goes for a joy ride and comes up with the scariest thing it can imagine, and then convinces me it's growling and ready to pounce from the darkness. I remember it was a canned item because when I reached that door I pounded on it with the can furiously trying to get someone's attention. The door locks whenever it's closed and can only open from the outside. My mother opens the door quickly and I fall to the safe kitchen floor still screaming. It turns out she closed the door thinking I already got the can and just left it open (I did take a while going down those step) What was the scariest moment of your life?

I sleep walked down to my basement before but anyway, scary moment.. When my friend held me inside the 'man-eating' butterfly room..or actually maybe they really were named that can't remember..
