Myth: Leech being patched,

Recently, I've been seeing threads and posts about leech being patched. You have to understand, IT'S NOT . Honestly, how many of you think that leech is being patched? Not me. Where are you getting all this information ? From my common sense. Here are multiple hints that gave me this idea. -------------------------------------------------------- Family System- What does it say when you add someone to your family? It clearly says "Please guide your junior and make his/her training easier" or something close to that. How else would you help someone without the use of party. Okay, maybe they train sometimes too, but rewarding them with 2x Experience? That's obviously hinting towards leech. Party Bonus- Correct me if I'm wrong with this, but if they actually gave you bonus exp, you are more likely to party someone, rather then just sit there for countless hours, training with yourself. The little boost they give you actually does help. What about the other versions of maple, where they patched leeching? If you have NOT noticed, many versions are different. For example; some versions do NOT have Crimsonwood Keep or Amoria. We can stand out; who knows. Have you ever stopped to think that we can be different? Why should we care? I never said you had to exactly, it's just it annoys me to see people flame leechers. If it's legit, let them do it. Who knows, maybe you're jealous that they can actually afford leech. So leechers, do your thing, leech! P.S. Why do you think there's a listing on basil called "Leech". Thank you for your time.

There was once a patch in KMS that prevented leeching by making it that the % of damage you do to a monster in a party = the % of the exp you gain, so you actually have to hit the monster to get exp. However, this epicly failed because it ruined the point of joining a party in the first place and was removed.

The only way for leeching to be patched is if you're training in a party and whoever kills the monster gets 90% of the exp, while the others split the 10%. I HIGHER doubt Nexon would ever go through that much trouble patching leech instead of hacks.

LOL I do c y you posted this and people are stupid bc I doubt that leech will be patched out because I think NEXON rather people leech then hack to lvl. I think it discourages hackers and if you want to pay the high prices to leech thats your business. Also I think it would be impossible to bann all the leechers bc there would be few people in the maple community left. I dont think people should be rude to u bc u are right leeching wont be patched out anytime soon and if it does well it does but it would be hard to implement.

We're a support class and we almost never kill the mobs that we're partied up against. I mean yeah, I do hurt himes with heal, but that sort of damage is nowhere compared to the amount an attacker would do.
