Opinion on Mortal Blow

I'm not sure whether or not I should learn it. I've asked this quite a bit before but I have a decent level puppet and hawk so now I have to choose to dump my points on either Inferno, Thrust or Mortal Blow -> I already have max AR and Strafe. Opinions please =P

Inferno is useless. Lvl 1 inferno is enough.

Uuh, I have LV 3 Inferno o.O I know Inferno is sorta useless but I'm wondering what Mortal Blow can do.

Youll be fine with lvl 3, just dont put anymore, or u could buy sp resets, but its not a big deal Max mortal blow and get thrust to w/e u want (if ur going to upgrade it at all, upgrade it to at least lvl 10) then u have a couple extra points for any other 3rd job, 2nd job or 1st job skills u want Mortal blow isnt the MOST usefull skill, but it is probably the most useful skill u have left to max...

well for hurricane u cant really kb at low lvls and mortal blow helps with that. there was this video of someone doing hurricane w/ mortal blow extremely fast inferno is mostly used for luring

Um, why would you let the monster(s) get that close if you have Dragon Breath and Puppet?

I plan on maxing Mortal Blow myself, while also getting 11 Inferno by the time I'm done with 3rd job. I already have 10 Thrust and plan to go no further. I like MB; even at level 5 it's useful and it activates more than you'd think it would. EDIT: Monster could spawn near you, in front of you, on you. Think of it as a Rainy Day Fund for when "Crap Happens" occurs. Also, isn't Dragon's Breath broken or something?

Mb to me is a great skill, If a monster is close it shoots a arrow that kbs the monster so that you have a tiny range and thats when your gonna db it back.

Dragon breath isnt broken, and requires range to activate MB is usefull for bm training all the way till the end, ive seen alot of my level 200 friends back when they were 19x using mb at newts to kill over hurricane lol also, for some monster pinning such as anego, if someone kills spawn and it gets ontop of you, its nice to have mb just waste it and u go back to hurricaning

Eh? You have at least 5 MB, you've never occasioned to see it in action? Either at Typhons or Newties or wherever it is you train? Sometimes, despite what you do and whether or not you see it coming at you, a monster will get too close for comfort. You don't see its usefulness yourself? Unless you make no mistakes and never get hit, get MB.

I usually only get hit by monsters which can also attack from range but I haven't seen MB in action with fast moving monsters.

Maxed mortal blow is the best thing ever happened to a Ranger/Bowmaster, especially when you combine that with Hurricane.

Storm of Mortal Blow isn't that great because it'll eventually fail and it causes Hurricane to disappear and you have to be close to a monster - which will 2 hit K.O you.
